정규 1집 앨범 ‘립스틱’의 작곡가 이기, 용배는 이번 싱글 앨범의 수록 곡 중 "까탈레나" 와 "So Sorry" 두 곡을 만들었다. 이 앨범의 타이틀 곡인 ‘까탈레나’는 파키스탄 펀자브 족의 민요 주띠메리(Jutti Meri)를 차용하여 만든 인도 풍 디스코 곡이다. 펑키 한 기타와 스트링의 조화가 흥을 돋구고, 유치하고 까칠하지만 이상한 매력으로 사람을 사로잡는 캐릭터 "까탈레나" 의 이야기를 담은 가사까지 더해 오렌지캬라멜 특유의 유니크 함에 중독성까지 담아 냈다.
Composers of the first full-length album "Lipstick" Lee Ki Yong-bae made two songs from the single, "Catallena" and "So Sorry." The album's title track, "Catallena", is an Indian-style disco song based on the Pakistani folk song Jutti Meri. The combination of funky guitars and strings is exciting, and the lyrics of the character "Catallena," which captivates people with its childish, feisty, but strange charm, are added to the unique and addictive character of Orange Caramel.
